Arriving at Shipwreck Beach Navagio Zante Zakynthos Greek Island. Blue water.

Arriving at the shipwreck beach in North West Zakynthos Island Greece.... Yes, its hard to believe from all the photos so I took a video instead. The water is actually that blue. We took a boat trip from the north wast of the island using a group called the Potamitis brothers. you can find them in google. Very nice people and great service. They stopped at the blue caves also and we had a swim. We spent about 1 hour on the beach and swimming in the cool (very cool and very deep) blue water. The heat on the beach was 30C so the water was refreshing. If you visit this island you must take a boat trip to this must see beach. If you rent a car you can also drive to the top of the cliffs and take postcard style photographs of the beach and the water. A slice of paradise in Europe.

i went to zakynthos 3 ears ago..it was very nice..but at the shipwreck the water was very "turbid"?(Is that how you say?)...@mcgon1979 how many stops did you had, with the boat i mean

@Graail7 I used potamitisbros and we stopped twice. once in swimming cove which was beautiful (see other video) and once in blue caves too.

the boat trip? maybe like 5 euro per person to go around the head of the island( 20minutes) to the beach. they also stopped at some blue water caves and some nice swimming areas too. greece is not too expensive place.

Heading here July this year, last time I went I was only a child so it'll be nice to go back and really appreciate what Zante has to offer!
