Thats awesome

You gave up your whole garage - for Conrail???
Just kidding... I admire your dedication and ability sir.

I like it but alot of straight boring lines. Will be better with scenery so for just the track and just as test I like it as well.

Thanks for writing. Actually, it was just under $12,000 most via discounted prices!!! My engine inventory consists of 32 which are Kato along with 6 others that are Atlas and one steam Rivarossi. My rolling stock inventory is made up of 426 freight cars and are either Micro-Trains, Intermountain or Fox Valley along with 30 passenger cars which are mostly Kato with some Rapido. I believe in buying the best as you get what you pay for!!!

Thanks for your comment! I hope to do an update on my layout soon, sometime in July or August. Looking forward to viewing your Norfolk Southern in the near future.

I got the total use of the garage (10'x20') thanks to my wife. We actually picked up a lot of storage space under the yard area for large items and smaller items under most of the shelving around the "now" train room, home of the Great Lakes & Western Railroad. Thanks for your comment!!!

Thanks for watching and making your comment! Conrail along with Canadian Pacific (see other videos) are the dominant railroads on my Great Lakes & Western Railroad. This is its third home in just over 25 years showing the test track to celebrate the Anniversary. I am now laying permanent track and will video an update probably in March.

I like it! I really like the broad curves; I don't see enough of that on many layouts. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your comment! The loop shown in the videos was only temporary back in February. As I lay the permanent track strarting in September, the curves will have a minimal radius of 21" to a maximum of 24" on the mainlines and 19" in the yard and industrial sidings. My featured freight railroads are the Canadian Pacific and Conrail with VIA, Canadian Pacific and Amtrak highlighting the passenger service on my Great Lakes & Western Railroad.
