Swine flu outbreak in Ukraine as virus said to kill dozens

Ukraine has declared a swine flu pandemic - closing schools and imposing quarantine restrictions in nine Western regions. The county's health Minister says over thirty have died with flu-like symptoms - with some testing positive for the virus.

Death toll from flu outbreak in Ukraine tops 800

The death toll from the flu outbreak in Ukraine has risen to 805, a spokesman for the country's Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

The outbreak has affected over 3.8 million people in the country so far.

Over 222,000 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak started in October 2009. The country has also reported 254 patients currently in intensive care with severe flu-like symptoms.

how many have died from hyperthermia 25 in Poland how many from smoking how many from just Flu and lack of good heating. how many have been run over by cars, how many by drug companies, how many killed in pointless wars, I bet we have hundreds of people die in England because they can not afford heating.

This is why the Government gives the older people A heating pay out at Xmas. things must be put in prospective.

The death toll from the flu epidemic in Ukraine has reached 328, with 12 deaths registered over the past 24 hours, the health ministry said on Wednesday.
