linux isnt so hell bent on protecting precious trade secrets like the operating systems we were forced to grow up with. this frees up the potential of the hardware, plain and simple. most problems i have experienced so far with linux is in the gui and weirdness with drivers. its too bad that so many programmers have to code for windows just to pay their landlords ridiculous sums of blood.

@morbid0asylum I'll start by saying I love Linux and prefer it. However I can do this on Windows without any issues too. BUUUUT Linux has way better multitask ability. I'm just saying Windows can handle it too. But i've made Archlinux roll 4 games at once including a virtualbox machine and music and messengers and....yea. Enough said :)

@morbid0asylum know this is old but tried this with system of slightly higher specs on Windows and it failed..... to be honest.... 10 fps on both crysis all low 800x600 and gta iv all low 800x600 with shadows and reflections disabled.

Yea, it's a pretty sick card. Especially since it doesn't really cost that much. As long as you don't care about DX10 it's a perfect card.
