  • @TheRborman or maby check out one of the worlds most famous tree cutting posters,, he tops a 300 ft tree half way.. gerald b is the man hands down, besides that he's one hell of a nice guy.. ive met him..his photo collecion will blow your mind, check out his book

  • @TheRborman Dude, do you know who you are telling to man up? Check out a little book called "The Fundamentals of General Tree Work" and then think about who you are talking to.

  • I think this a part of B.F.Beranek's working climer video. If I'm correct, wonder if Mr.Beranek approved this on youtube (^^?

  • @keithhatto yeah but snap cuts are not soo good because everything on that tree was rotten.

  • i think snap cuts would have been a better choice for chunking the wood off much more control than a notch and quicker but you did a great job. I'm not saying your way was wrong at all just giving my 2 cents

  • very nice awlays tie in if u can

  • Good Video, But this is part of basic training in the UK!

  • Great Job Mr. B. I like the even with your notch backcut. Cutin to high on your backcut causes the chain to stick in the kerf, I to cut even or lower than my notch to prevent that. Nice tie in's (2) its always best to fly on dead. Cheers! Thanks again

  • If you didn't have to rigg off the tree you were removing, then just strip it up and block it down. If it isn't windy you will cut off the load of your body weight and the tree will hold you. Man up.
