    Yes.... actually this movement did not exist previously: I composed it (both ritornello end episodes) with my own notes and, in several places, utilizing the "pasticcio technic" (i.e. recycling Vivaldi's music as he did many times :-)) in order to complete the only (first) movement of the concert (RV 432, for flute) that have originally survived in isolated form. (The second movement "Largo" is entirely recycled from other violin concerts of the Summo Sacerdote:-))

  • This Allegro in 3/8 time has been "composed by Pablo Queipo De Llano on various Vivaldi sources" (=> booklet of the CD). Composed - and not reconstructed !
