Former First Lady Laura Bush spoke with "The Early Show" anchor Maggie Rodriguez about her time soon after leaving the White House with the former President. Watch the full interview Monday, Nov.16th.
@TheRealAkaRai Firstly, I didn't TRY to misquote you. But, it'll be nice for you to use your own words and insight vs. those of others. Your admittance of accepting misinformation as fact, then arguing on its merit IS the definition of ignorance. Never ONLY rely on the findings of like opinions for truth. Sometimes it favors you to seek other views. Notice that I wrotethat (although I often disagree) I also listen to Rush, Beck, and Hannity. Otherwise, I'd be just as misguided as you.
@TheRealAkaRai I said this is not that discussion because the scarcity of cars did not happen due to them being sold out; it was because dealer declined to order more and returned most of those they had in their inventory. When cars sit on lots, owners have to pay taxes on them. If they are not selling, they lose money. I have no idea where you got your information. All cars during C4C were being reduced to rediculously record low prices. There was no less cars/high $ thing you're talking about.
@TheRealAkaRai That the problem!!!!. Other than your vocabulary, you seem intelligent, but you're too naive. You depend on others to think for you. C4C got people to buy new or used cars from CAR DEALERS. Therefore, it required financing or cash. This is where you think... How could anyone affording to pay cash for a car be POOR?
With respect to your last part.. The Clunkers were hauled off and SCRAPPED, Since they were road hazzards. That was the other important point to the program. GET IT?
@seyiitoldya "Plus, you clearly had been misinformed about it." This coming from the breying ignorant jackass who tried to misquote something someone said TO me as having been said BY me? The fucking moron who I've already linked to a clip outlining what exactly was wrong with Cash for Clunkers, but continues to claim I don't know what I'm talking about?
Quit flapping your fucking gums and watch the video you stupid sack of shit. Your ignorance is beginning to offend me.
@seyiitoldya "This is not a supply and demand discussion." You're doing this a lot. Stop it. You don't get to decide what is being discussed or on what terms. You're avoiding what I tell you, because you have no way to address the fact that Cash for Clunkers hurt the auto business. Don't you dare fucking tell me what I am discussing you pompous ass.
You're not a complete idiot are you? Do I need to spell this out again? Less cars = higher prices = harder for poor people to afford.
@seyiitoldya Cut the bullshit. Just because someone is poor doesn't mean they don't buy cars, that's an asinine assertion and you know it. That's why you're using the term "finance" to weasel out of the FACT that this policy hurt poor people. Those "clunkers" were exactly the cars those with the smallest income would have bought. See that word ass? BOUGHT. Not "financed".
What kind of jackass calls someone "misinformed" when clearly you haven't a clue what you're talking about?
