You can make all kinds or realistic embellishments with inexpensive hot glue! In this video I'll show you haw to make a pirates doubloon pendant, faux wax seals and coins! Using hot glue is not only inexpensive but lightweight meaing jewlerey made with it is light and easy to wear and if the faux-coins are used on cards they are cheap to mail. Enjoy and happy crafting!

  • Great idea and what a fun technique for so many embellishments. I have one question, does the hot glue affect the acrylic stamp in any way?

  • @craftoncue Both of the stamps I used were real rubber, not acrylic and rubber can stand very high tempratures. I reckon your clear stamps will be fine tho, just be sure to use the low setting on your glue gun and ink up you stamp with glyceryn or clear embossing ink before you stamp in to the hot glue. It keeps the glue from sticking to the stamp;)
