( NaNoWriMo 2009 ) Day 01 [part one].

This video comes in two parts, so sorry about that! You'll see why when you watch it XD But yes, this is my first official NaNo Video Diary, how exciting! Just some of my thoughts and feelings on this the first day of novelling, oh my gosh.

Part two of this diary will include an excerpt from my novel so far, so please do watch that one as well! :D The excerpt isn't proofread, though, please bear that in mind when you read it.

XD! I would read my extracts aloud but my performing arts skills seem to have failed me a bit; reading my own stuff aloud isn't nearly as easy as reading a play :(

Hey, Buffy,

I guess different things work for different people! I get so easily distracted, I have to remove those temptations if I want to get anything done :( I can't read with music playing either, it's terrible. It's like the outline thing -- for some people it's essential but for me it's just too much of a hassle and a restriction. I could probably benefit from them, but I've never used them.

Hurray for NaNoWriMo 2009! Congrats on 4,298 words! It was fun watching your word meter go up! I got a one page novel outline. I met someone with a literature degree who said she had a 10 page novel outline. I didn't want to be that thorough. lol Actually I use both internet and songs while I write it helps me.
