Happenstance depicts the multi-million dollar, no-bid contracts given to three lawyers with clear connections to Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie while he was United States Attorney. These three lawyers were selected by Christie out of over a million lawyers in the country.
Chris Christie gave a $52 million no-bid contract to his boss in the Bush Administration, John Ashcroft, a $10 million no-bid contract to long-time friend and fundraiser John Inglesino, and a multi-million dollar no-bid contract to the former federal prosecutor, David Kelley, who let Christie's brother, Todd, off on stock fraud charges.
Christie is a corrupt political hack who gave special deals to his friends and associates.

Wasn't Christie placed in his position by George W. Bush? Did he not follow the orders given to prosecute democratic candidates with unsubstantiated charges before an election? Why didn't he resign when asked to use his office in such a partisan manner like those others did? Why?

Let's face it. Chris Christie is a complete hypocrite. He abused his powers of office when he chose to give a 52 million dollar contract to his old boss John Ashcroft.
Was it legal? Probably.
Was it ethical? Not very.
Was there....IS there at the very least a strong appearance of impropriety? Hell yes!!!
Does Christie acknowledge that, at the very least, his gift to Ashcroft looks and smells bad? Hell no.
Christie was, and remains, a petty partisan hack with an over sized ego!!
