It looks like you were using the mixing bowl method which has a rather high rate of failure. It also looks like you have a hard plastic toilet seat which is hard for the cat to grasp onto. Padded is much better for kitty toilet training. There's no way you could hope to train your cats in a week. It can take months and in some cases even years. Check out the Yahoo Cats T-Training group for some GOOD info on training your cats.
