@1996vamer Hell, why not ? Lol, seriously though my father in law would pour used motor oil around the foundation of his house for many years to keep away termites he said. The EPA would crap themselves if they knew that!

I just spray my yard down with deisel fuel in the summer and I don't have any pest problems.

how does this thing kills ants? how does it work? and how does it kill the whole colony? i used it and it worked all the ants are Gone.. i just want to know how it works

If you do a little research, spraying usually makes ants stead out their colonies so it really makes more ants at more locations. Terro just kills the colony.

Terro is pretty much just corn syrup mixed with a chemical called borax. Borax isn't really a poison (it's found in some detergents). It kills the ants by forming sharp crystals on the outside of their bodies; these crystals damage their protective exoskeleton and they eventually die from drying out.
It takes a while to work, giving the worker ants plenty of time to carry lots of it back to their queens. When the queens die, the colony dies too.
