  • Nirvana is shit.....

  • that's what i name a SHOW!!!!

  • insane

  • The guy with the big hair is annoying. I don't think he brought anything musically to the band haha

  • I really wished they wouldve stayed like this.

  • this is from the day I was born :D

  • i actually loved the fact that jason was in the band i wish they would of kept him

  • @livegreenday I'm going to have to take your word for it, I'm not seeing any TLA shows anywhere on a Nirvana Live Archive website I found. I had two friends back in the day that said they went to the TLA show. I haven't talked to them in 12 years and would like to ask them about the show. It makes no sense at all that they played Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill, 9:30 Club in DC, City Gardens in Trenton, the Marquee in NYC, and NOT the TLA in Philly. They played all those clubs even back in 90'.

  • @sirmelancholia With all due respect to you, they played a third date at Dobbs on October 1st, 1991. The US "Nevermind" tour was booked before the album took off, so they were still playing a lot of the same clubs they were during the "Bleach" era. That photo above shows their name on Dobbs' calendar, and the show definitely was not moved or anything like that. After this date, their next stop in Philly was at the Armory in '93.

  • @livegreenday I'm 34 so my memory is still pretty much intact. I went to A LOT of shows at both Dobbs and the TLA. I do know that Nirvana played Dobbs twice; in 89 & 90 I'm 99% sure that they played at the TLA. I distinctly remember seeing "NIRVANA" on the marquee out front for a couple of weeks whenever I went down to South Street. I personally saw them at City Gardens right around the same time too which was a common tour stop before or after the TLA or Troc in Philly.
