  • The dust he kicked up settled immediately just as it would in a vacuum, it appears you did not pay attention in grade school.

  • The Apollo Programme showed that even the powerful USA wasn't able to deal alone with the Space Conquest (Mars and beyond). That's the reason we have the ISS and the next missions to the Moon and planets will be an international effort belonging to all Earth, to all humans. Perhaps the next man to step on the Moon is a Chinese or a French or a Mexican, who knows and it doesn't matter; there are capable people everywhere.

  • Thanks for this upload. I had seen other renditions and thought he had tripped on the rock, but I think he found a soft spot and broke thru.

    And, yes, all falls were life threatening events; there is not sufficient time to repair the suit.
