By http://ChrisGossett.com/SAMMY_HAGAR.htm . Sammy Hagar unreleased - performing "Going Down" with Los Tres Gusanos, a thrice in a lifetime RARE Cabo Wabo appearance. This came from "Van Halen Unreleased" but it's Sammy Hagar on vocal and guitar, Michael Anthony on bass and Matt Sorum on drums, from the Cabo Wabo Cantina. I've never heard a better version of "Goin' Down" except the one by Chickenfoot at their first appearance ever.

I was at that show in 1993 and would be interested. I have several pictures from that show since I was front row. I know Cabo Wabo was selling the video at one point but they no longer do it.

Wow. That's tremendous! I've seen Sammy several times with Van Halen, several more and more without Van Halen. There was a FREE show in Toledo back in 99 (where I unfortunately still live) that was with the Wabos right off the lake at Promenade Park and I'll tell you what - it really might have been the best one I've seen. I loved Chickenfoot. It was different. VH - different. That Wabo setting is the slickest and I'd love to "take me down down down down down down".ur so lucky!

I'm sorry I don't have a clue but wish I did! That would be great to see or have! The Foot is the upgrade anyway! But I would bet that was a great, GREAT show. Thanks for that comment. What did you think of the representation of Sammy's career by album - now he's done 30! Incredible! I think only KISS, the Stones, Elton John have more.... I'm sure I'm forgetting many bands - don't lash me in the comment section for omitting someone - oh Scorps, AC/DD - all of which I love. out
