Ridiculous exaggerations are more abundant now than they have ever been.

Imagine:

Songs actually written and performed by the artists.

No digitally processed vocals masking the fact that the singer sucks.

No auto-tuning to mask the fact that the singers can't stay on key.

Melody, harmony and thoughtful lyrics instead of "motherfuckin' bitch..."

Real instuments instead of some geek in front of a screen using a mouse to manipulate digitally sampled sounds.

Popular music as we know it today is the worst it's ever been.

It's a beautiful song! WHY the debate?

It's a beautiful song written & actually performed by the group. There is no lip sinking or soundtrack behind them as there is today. The debate is that kids today have been taught to believe that if someone doesn't agree with them, they attack and call them names or resort to violence. It's a tragic statement on youth and to our country. Many soldiers have died so that free speech is available. The influence of "diversity" is propelling our country towards a dictatorship at phenomenal speeds.

I am proud to have been alive when men acted like men and were singing about loving women instead of calling them bitches and whores and treating them as such. I am ashamed that today I don't hear any "artist" without hearing about degradation and sickness and that it's revered as normal.

It's hopeless to argue with a child, but an ignorant child is impossible. I love how you make assumptions as if you know what someone else is thinking but then admitting you are from Canada makes me laugh. Most Canadians are ashamed to live there. They come here. But you can keep your hate in Canada and oh Canada, your ignorance!
