Part 1 of 3. The Disney Family Album documentary on Disney Legend Ken Anderson. Walt Disney often referred to Ken Anderson as his "Jack of All Trades." Indeed, over the years, Ken used his masterful skills as architect, artist, animator, storyteller and designer to pioneer many different areas of Disney's broad entertainment spectrum.

  • I had the chance to meet Mr. Anderson personally on a visit he did to the animation studio i was working at in 1991.I was intimidated by his presence, because i respeced him then so much. But i do respect him more now that i've seen this documentary. For me, Ken Anderson was ,from Disney's Old men, the men that wasn't a number ,but the main factor of the Disney most glorious films.Thank God for Ken's life, truly.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! I have always loved this series. Does anyone have Peter Ellenshaw's DFA out there to upload?

  • Ken Anderson is an ANIMATION LEGEND!

  • yeah, i'd love to see the one about peter ellenshaw too!

  • Jeffrey, i remember seeing a little poster about it in a library in Burbank, cant remember the name of the street. I hope you have the same God given gifts as your grandpa,so the good name (and art!) keeps on going, i am sure you do.

  • I just wanted to say hello to you. I am Ken Anderson's Great Grandson Jeffrey. The last time I saw my Grandpa in person was also in 1991 at his residence in LaCanada-Flintridge, Ca. I remember him finishing up on his own project illustration book (seperate from Disney) called "Nessie and the little boy of Loche Ness". He took me with him to a downtown LA Kinko's copies, to make printings of his new book. I still own this original book to this day.

  • Thank you! =)!!

  • I wish Disney would release "The Disney Family Album" series on DVD or create a sister channel like "Toon Disney" but call it "The Vault Disney Channel". So that way, Disney could air their classic films and tv shows. Also I have great news! "Pinocchio" is set come out DVD and Blu-ray in Spring 2009.

  • thank you thank you thank you!!
