I love the starting 6. could not have picked it better myself. A proper fast break to with a mixture of everything.

I think Wilt Chamberlain was amazing all around. You are looking at someone who ran track in college and ran the fast break 60 style of play for a whole 48 minutes. That's amazing. I seen Wilt block kareems sky hook twice and Wilt was arguably one of the best rebounders of any era. Kareem was overrated, he was a weak rebounder and defender in my opinion. Russel had no offense so I wouldnt go with him either. An overrated center however was Moses Malone.
WHAT????? KAREEM ABDUL JABBAR NOT SELECTED???

@Fernandocatan I stand by the decision. Hakeem killed Jabbar in the 1986 West Finals as a young star.. and I don't see Jabbar out-bodying Shaq whatsoever.. do check out my Lakers videos on the Lakers in the 1980s though

Kareem won the 1985 MVP of the finals when he was 38. He scored 10.000 points than Hakeem, but you have chosen your team. I agree with you when you choose Magic, MJ and Larry. I don't know if I would choose Tim Duncan in the starting five. Probably I would go for Karl Malone.

@Fernandocatan Given Hakeem's defensive abilities that I find superior to that of Kareem's.. I didn't think I needed another scorer when I have MJ, Kobe, LeBron, Malone, Barkley, Shaq and Larry, etc.. not to say he can't score because he can. For Malone and Duncan I guess who the starter would depend on the opponents traits.. given that.. Malone brings power.. Duncan brings height.. which equals range. Besides Magic who should be the 2nd point guard in your view?

Oh yeah, the old Shaq in his prime was freakin' unstoppable. Every game he had at least 3 players trying to guard him - of course many failed, but my head coach would be Phil Jackson though!
Where would Dennis Rodman fit in this equation? In his prime no one out rebounded this crazy guy.You must admit he made the mailman work for every one of his shots and he did frustrate him at times. Those second chance opportunities due to rebounds got extra points for Jordan ya know.

@YhwhKhai A lot of excellent points.. I mean Phil Jackson knows how to manage talent ranging from Jordan to Pippen to Rodman to Shaq to Kobe, etc so he's a top choice besides Red Auerbach for this job. I mean no wrong answers as numerous coaches could handle this job.. Chuck Daly, Larry Brown, Phil Jackson, Greg Popovich, Pat Riley off the top of my head..
Rodman's certainly an all-time rebounder but Malone, Barkley & Duncan can all rebound and score so to me those 3 are stronger choices.
