@drknmunky I LOVED Alen Encounter! It was a worthy replacement of such a great attraction like this...unlike Stitch. >:(

This ride sucked.

@scott93257 Yes I can't imagine what that would be like. I'm glad, though, to hear that you understand that there was nothing you could have done to prevent it and you are getting on with your life. My thoughts are with you.

Thank you...There is not a day that goes by that they are not in my thoughts.... I miss them on a daily basis...Just can't get over it...I have moved on gotten on with my life as they would have wanted me to... but still the pain is there and will never go away... The saying "Time will heal all wounds" is not a correct statement...It doesn't heal anything...Just makes the pain more manageable.

@scott93257 I am so sorry to hear about your parents. That must have been the worst year ever for yourself.

This video brings back so many memories...Thank you so much for posting it... I was 6 years old when I first went on this ride...It was so real...and I was AMAZED...Mom and dad perished in a car accident the same year Disney closed this ride down.. sort of ironic...

yeah that used to be alien but it was too "hardcore" and scary for little kids so now is stitch. aww maan.
-
I remember this ride from years ago and being so blown about it when I was younger. Go Disney!!!
-
This is sooooooooo boring! Being scared out of my mind or having Stitch burp in my face is 100 times better than this!

@regularshow99 Yep. Alien Encounter replaced Mission to Mars in 1994 at Disney World. At Disneyland it was replaced by a pizza restaurant. :P
This comment has received too many negative votes show
missliss14 this ride is still at disney its at the epcot park n its different because it seats 4 n each person has a job n it feels like ur actually inside a rocket ship going to mars cause u feel all the excitement but its still really fun to go on

well, no. This "ride" was in the Magic Kingdom where Stitch currently is. At that time Mission:Space was still Horizons. They both have the basis of space travel, but are nothing alike.
