This is Part One of my Tribute to the World of Warcraft before the Cataclysm. I had to cut it down a little due to the 15 minute limitation of Youtube, but i hope you´ll enjoy it anyway.

Songs used:
Steve Jablonsky - My Name is Lincoln
Two Steps from Hell - After the Fall
Two Steps from Hell - Atlantis
Immediate Music - Serenata Immortale
Two Steps from Hell - Heart of Courage
Audiomachine - Blood & Glory

  • It`s a shame that there is less and less people who play world of warcraft because of the Love of the game, the play for better gear and "cooler" cataclysm gear. So they can show everyone how pro they are. They do not realize that some of us play world of warcraft because we love the game, we love those who put there soul into it, some of us actually raid because not of the gear, but for the epic feeling when 25 man are trying to kill The Lich king and are working hard to achieve it.

  • Damn it's very beautiful !! Good job !

  • i remember i felt like loch modan was my in-game home. i loved the place so much i didn't change my heartstone designation even on lvl 60. it was silly and unpractical - a complete waste of time. but it was home. anyhow, all good things must come to and end, and im glad i quit after wotlk came out. it was a good time to do so

  • This movie touched my heart :( it bringed back so memories back then when u were a noob :(

  • The real wow is old, but for me it is gold.

  • I just can not beleive time has gone so fast. clearly remember starting my first account with a night elf druid back in 2005,, instantly i felt that blizzard has acheived something totally revolutionary in mmo. I think everyone knows what iam talking about, that special epic feeling this game gave us, so much memories and joy.Sadly i havent played this game for 3 years now. It feels its prime has been long gone now sadly. Its time first the next generation mmo to blow our minds. Thanks blizz!

  • The top comment escapes me. "Less and less people..." So if numbers increase dramatically it means less? And don't bring up the little minority of 1 million loss recently. I'm pretty sure the remaining 11 million will keep the game going.

Other than that. Yes Classic WoW was a great time. SOCIALLY. When it came to actual game mechanics and stuff like that. It was not. Nowadays its kinda backwards. Classic WoW was the worse when it came to grinding and leveling.... the fucking grinding...

  • @GDF333 very true - however WoW incorporated them in a way that no other game of our time has been able to. No other game has had the remote feel that WoW had back in it's 2004 years. it is something i will truly always remember.

  • @Chronic4460 and lastly, swg did incorporate things before wow did. i just now started playing wow because i need something to hold me till swtor...the most recent thing is the ability to equip items, but have the cosmetic look of another. beast mastery, mounts, and raids/dungeons/instances/flashpoints were invented before the thought process and development of wow ever came to being.

  • @Chronic4460 it's cool and all that you feel that this game is special and i respect that. but it is nowhere near the first of the mmo's to incorporate any of your aforementioned "idea's." 2 games i watched cousins play back in the 90's were ultima online and everquest. and in the beginning of '03 i played star wars galaxies, which came well before vanilla wow. i didn't play wow because i dedicated time and effort into swg that i thought wow was a rip off because it felt the same.

  • Screw you blizz. Thanks for ruining this game

  • Oh my GOD. I always wished for such a video but yours SUCKS! Here is why: 90% of the places you show are places that havent changed at all in cata. But all those places that HAVE changed and we will never see again, you leave out. Stormwind for example, you show only stormwind places that look the same as they do now. How about trade district?
