  • thank you, Gerry

    you never fail to inspire

  • Ray Anderson is amazing. Such a colorful and emotional trombonist. I can't get enough.

  • Been listening to these guys since 1978. They are incredible!

  • You've got to be kidding me!!!

  • This live concert is really challenging to listen to--Anderson (and the group) are charting new territory--not your Fontana/Watrous/Martin/Johnston kind of jazz. Check out Ray's album with George Gruntz--the Ray Anderson Big Band Album. Ray's in top form, Gruntz is an imaginative, swinging writer/interpreter of Ray's tunes, and the band smokes its way through some very hard but ferociously swinging music.

  • nice movie of Bassdrumbone - I make three short movies of Bassdrumbome at The Bimhuis Amsterdam Holland from march 2007. You can see them on Klahon
