Hp Touchsmart tx2 1020us Multi Touch Laptop with Windows 7 RC

Testing Windows 7 Release Candidate on my HP touchsmart and Gateway tablet PCs.
The multitouch in Windows 7 allows you to do so much more than in Vista, including 2 finger scrolling, zoom in and out, rotate onscreen objects, and use the onscreen keyboard with more than one finger at a time. It has also been said that they will allow you to make your own custom gestures to execute commands.

how to turn off your Touchscreen plz

@Psychopomp360 u have to go to device manager unless u have windows 7 u can go to Devices and Pritners right in the start menu and look for DuoSense, click properties, go to hardware tab, and double click multi touch HID device, and click disable device. To renable do the same except click enable where it said disable. They really should have put a button on the actual computer, i dont know why they leave those things out

@coxines theres not many touch screen games out there really, the touch interface at this point in time on windows is experimental, and is not fully useful for anything that a mouse and keyboard cant do, though is much more fun to use windows 7 with. That game is a nintendo game running off a nintendo 64 emulator. You can download emulators and games by googling doperoms. To put an OS on, simply insert an OS install disc and follow the onscreen instructions after booting from CD

@colababy1 its decent, the tablet is not pressure sensitive, though hp has one equipped with a wacom brand tablet, which I believe would have that feature. other than that, it is useful for drawing and tracing and some forms of editing. though when in tablet mode, you dont have the keyboard, so that can be a problem if you use keyboard shortcuts a lot
