how do you get to take your mag with you and use them

Theres no such item in PSU, the closest there is to the old PSO mags are your Partner Machines (PM) which you use to synthesize weapons etc, you can also take your PM into battle once it has reached a sufficent level (80) you do not however have any control over what it does it basicly acts as a non playable character and attacking at random.

The other thing is the madoog (shown above the left shoulder of my character in the video) it esentially acts as a left handed tech weapon which allows you to asign 2 spells to it, you can also equip a wand or melee weapon in the other hand to use along with this. :]

I recently got the game but its way different from eps. 1 & 2.. I still don't know how to feed the PM right.. and what do you mean by synthesize weapons?

You can aquire boards [B]'s from missions or selected NPC shops on each planet, Usually the purple shop called Synthesis shop. Each board will require certain items to make. To input the board into your PM just click on your PM and select Synth weapon then insert the board. All boards require items and will take a certain amount of time to finish synthing. Depenidn on your PM's level and criteria the board is it will either come out made or you recieve a pretty worthless material in return.
