  • Hello may i ask what program you used to do this i am very interested in stretching video to 2.39:1 and i would love to know how you achieved this

  • Hi. First of all, I'd like to thank you for your interest.

I achived this on Sony Vegas Pro 8, but if you look again the comparison, the videos aren't stretched but "cropped".

Why you don't download a free trial and if you like I can help you with this subject.

    Best regards.

  • Como esta hecho esto? Quisiera poder panoramizar mis videos. Please help!

  • Con el sony vegas pro.

Hay una herramienta para panoramizar y recortar. Bajalo y si tienes dudas, avísame.

  • When your original was 1.78 the composition looked alot better once cropped to 2.35. Your 1.33 original didnt look as well composed once cropped to 2.35 was as tho you were shooting for 1.33. Id stick with shooting 1.78 with the safe area, besides is not much of a jump to go to 1.85, sometimes 2.35 is just too much.

  • The second experiment is shoot with the same camera and same original aspect (1.78), but the 2.35 area marked on the screen with a secure area and then cut that image with the respect size (in this case 1920x817).

I hope this could be clear for you. If you like to extend this commentary, you can contact me through my Youtube account.

    THANKS AGAIN

  • First I want to thank you for watch this video and share your ideas.

I want to make "movies" with this aspect but that requires expensive lenses and also special cameras for shooting an original wide-aspect image, so the porpuse of this experiment is to LEARN how I can shoot with this aspect with any video camera without pay figures that I can't afford...

  • Its an interesting experiment. I belive Im understanding it correctly that your shooting for psuedoscope. The point isnt well made/taken. It would be better to frame the shot for 2.35 add the letter box present that as the original then go back, crop and pan for 1.78 or 1.33. That would really drive home what your "missing" in 1.78 and 1.33.

  • Are things supposed to get cut out with 2.35:1?
