Jamie: (Narrates) After helping my mom with something I went back upstairs to check the time and see if Mel was up yet. Her yellow bedroom door was closed, which usually meant she was asleep. But I knew mel, She wouldn't dare sleep past 9 and miss The top 20 music videos countdown on Vh1. I opened the door after she said 'come in'. She was on her bed writing in her sparkly black journal that she had gotten from our uncle Matt on her birthday last year.

Melissa: Hey Jamie (looks up briefly and back down at her Journal)

Jamie: (Narrates)
Oh, my bad. I forgot to tell you that Mel is way into music. She owns like 6 guitars. We would oftern sit in her room and play together, but lately we havent spent much time together. She had the song "About you now" by Miranda Cosgrove playing softly in her CD player. Ha, I love that song. (Talking) Can I see it?
Melissa: Yep, hold on. I'm almost done, I'll play it for you. Can you grab Mirabelle?
Jamie: (Narrates) Mirabelle is the first Acoustic Mel got. When she wrote a song she always played it on Mirabelle first for good luck, Otherwise it sounds bad. Or so she says. (talking) Yeah sure (grabs the guitar) here you go (hands it to her)

Melissa: Cam, Yesterday we were out in the park before she left for camp and we were talking about stuff. We asked each other what we wanna do when we grow up, we both said music and a group of boys came over and made fun of us. I ignored them but you know how sensitive Cam is, she cried and ran home.
Froina: That's so mean (Standing in the doorway)
Jamie: Froina?! When did you get back?
Froina: (Narrates) Finally! I come into the story! I was getting tired of waiting!
Jamie: (N) Girl, be quiet
Froina: Oh, just about 10 minutes ago but I had to come see you because you texted me about 20 million times about something being urgent (sees Mel) AH! MELISSA! (runs over and hugs her) I MISSED YOU TOO!
Jamie: (laughs at Froina's obnoxiousness)
Melissa: Hey, Froina. How was the camp?
Froina: Powerchord? it was...TOTALLY AWESOME. We basically just did music stuff all summer.
Jamie: You do know it's only been a month
Froina: Well, it seemed like forever being away from you guys. So whats so urgent...
Melissa: (was about to answer when Jamison interupts)
Jamie: Mel its almost 10:00 remember 1 o'clock.
Melissa: YEA!!!!!!!!!!
Froina: Whoa! what's with her?
Jamie: Uhm...I dunno! Let's go (drags Froina to her room)
