@joeschmoe2003 I had no clue what his skin color was until my friend's mom mentioned it and we were all surprised. We all have ideas that they have deep dark voices and we just didn't expect his voice to sound like this! I love his work, don't get me wrong, and I have no problem with his skin color. It was just a complete shock to me! But NOTHING will keep me from listening to his music. EVER.

well it doesnt guys, get over it. we have a black president, and obviously black country singers, they are not niggers, and they are not african americans. they are AMERICANS, no matter how much you may hate it, it is who we are. americans.

On YouTube we've definitely taken a step back...on the radio and TV no one at all even mentioned Darius Rucker's skin color when this song came out...then here on YouTube people had to go and mention it! Hopefully one day we'll get to the point where mentioning the artist's skin color is like mentioning the artist's favorite breakfast; totally irrelevant to the song!

Lets see, the sterotypical attitude is that country fans are rednecky racists. Well, its the country fans that have accepted Darius and the liberals always wanting to make an issue out of race. I'm so sick of it. This country fan thinks its great that Darius is doing so well and hopes he continues. I love the song about his little girls. I have three of my own. You're awesome Darius.
