Just ask for community service. You're not limited to picking up trash and reading to kids on a place like Mobius-he already stops robots on a daily basis, so doing it to avoid jail time would be good, too.

They've locked up Sonic for eceeding speed, but they've never captured Robotnik for anything he did. Moebius' police is rather corrupted.
