  • It was a very good idea for the anthem, but I would have guessed that such a presentation would not have gone down well with the crowd (you know, being half-drunk bogans and all). But if this stunned a lot of people (into admiration I mean) then that's a good thing - and proves my hunch as wrong.

  • It's about time something like this was done. New Zealand have been doing it for years, I think this is the way the National Anthem should be performed at all major events!

  • Good idea.

However they butchered it, the crowd was never behind it.

Atmosphere went out the door. Sorry to be brutal.

  • @GrubcoTV3 I have basically broken the replay button. I think I'm up to the 20/25th time! I love it!

  • @Rafdaganga New Zealand do not have their English sung first.

  • This should be done. This would help honour our Aboriginal heritage. As has been said, New Zealand has been doing it for year.

If our neighbours from across the Tasman can do it, why can't we!

  • start teaching this version in the skewls

  • Politically correct bullshit. The english version should've been first

  • I see verse 2 of the original has been omitted: When gallant Cook from Albion sailed, To trace wide oceans o'er, True British courage bore him on, Til he landed on our shore. Then here he raised Old England's flag, The standard of the brave; "With all her faults we love her still" "Britannia rules the wave." In joyful strains then let us sing Advance Australia fair.

  • One Word - Goosebumps

  • im english , and this amazing

  • tha bomb raet thea
