Woodbrook - Michael O' Suilleabhain

Me playing this beautiful traditional Irish piece for Piano and Strings by composer Michael O' Suilleabhain. This was one of the first and most loved pieces I tried to practice learning by ear from a CD I had with it on. Never could learn it though, only parts of it could I translate roughly by ear. It took me years to be able to learn to play it from ear, by this time I had downloaded the sheet music online :)

The foreword to my childhood piano books says, "Always caress the piano instead of thumping the keys."

I didn't manage that yet, but you do it better than most!!
