Here's part 3 of my ? part series of covers of the same song.

Hey, a list of points!

1. Pitch correction. Melodyne. Composer, not performer.

2. The lyric sheet fell off the desk in front of me right when the a cappella breakdown happened. I noticed this after I packed up the equipment. Woot.

3. I cheated on the banjo part a little (recorded it at about 80% of tempo, and sped it up)

4. I wanted a mandolin part, but apparently the mandolin guild are sworn enemies of MIDI....

I'm probably going to put videos on hold for now, as I have my gigantic PhD Comprehensive Exams coming up soon which unfortunately, trumps my YouTube life.

  • Oh! GLITTER... lol... I always thought there was litter on the floor!

  • @kruszer Makes sense to think that, the previous line is "dirty" free-for-all. Dirty could mean they don't use the trash cans.

  • You don't quite have the thick southern drawl for bluegrass, but this was sweet anyways :)

  • @LeWoVoc Actually, "real" bluegrass doesn't have a drawl, it's only modern bluegrass that forces the drawl in singing (since singing neutralizes most accents naturally).

  • Be$t wi$he$ on your gigantic exam$.

  • @CarlyCarlyW Thank$ a £ot!
