yeah Kip had to make his move and hope Reid wouldn't be able to hang on, but with the finish line so close, Kip became a carrot dangling in front of Reid. Great racing! Good effort to both of them.

Well, my friend ran this race, and he told me in no uncertain terms that the runners are really much slower than how they appear. For olympians, they were downright lethargic. If he didn't stop to high five each one of the people watching he would have won easily.
