WANT TO HELP SHARKS? .... read on... 200 commercial gillnet vessels target sharks within the GBR Marine Park and World Heritage Area, 600 tonnes of shark is removed each year, exporting the fins and selling the body for meat in this country... only you can help stop this, by sending a letter to the government before the review in Feb 2012...

the letter is on the first page, just scroll down, to find it and the addresses to send it from you email...

I got into film making because i had begun to see them disappear within my lifetime, and i am only 18- years old.

THIS IS IT.... have your say, your reaction is their only hope.

thank you. Madison Stewart

...............................................................................................................

my royalty music version entry for the WWF video competition.

the title reads 'ready for anything' we as shark conservationists are in fact ready for anything, and will always be here to stick up for the animals we love.
This films was a challenge as it has a 2 minute restriction, so i tried my hardest to reach people in that time...

:) enjoy!

  • I'd wish so much humans will be gone from the planet instead! They deserve it, they're an invasive species that destroys everything else. Whoever harms a shark deserves to die!

  • This is incredible, you should be so proud. If everyone could see this video, we would live in a much better world. You're phenomenal.

  • Listen to you it's so touching

  • @elements5pip Thank you for your reply. I agree entirely with what say which underlines the fact that sharks are apex marine predators that serve a vital oceanic function and need protection from land based predators - humans. Well done Madison for producing such a fine video which is now in my favourites : )

  • @limjunyong i completely agree.

  • @elements5pip I totally agree with you, but honestly its the way I really feel, because if anyone tried to kill my dogs, or my nieces or nephew thats what I would do, doesn't make it right but I guess that just the way people are that are born into violence

  • @limjunyong to kill to protect what we love from being killed, makes us no better than them... and it is an inefficient short term answer.

  • @elements5pip I know, but it is true, people will kill to protect what they love right.

  • @qwertypluss im sorry... where did you hear they were attracted to blood? they can detect blood in millions of drops of water, doesn't mean they are attracted to it, they are actually more attracted to the chemicals found in fish guts! and human blood does not trigger a reaction from them, i sliced my hand open on some coral on a shark feed once, nothing! the water just filled with green blood hahaha if they react to anything, its the tear in the skin intensifying the electricity of your heart!

  • @limjunyong kill misconception, its far more devious and threatening ;)
