what is the max speed?

how much would it cost to upgrade it? Mine had an accident hitting a car tire at top speed, which shorted the board.

Yes, Take the engine, the circuit board on the top, and the stock steering servo, and throw it all in the garbage.
Put in a good 19T turn endbell motor, a Tazer 15T speed control, and get a controller, reciever, and steering servo. Use the steering servo mounts from a tamiya TL01 chassis or modify the stock mount like I did.

Actually stock it isnt, but it is very quick and obviously can be drifted lol. I do however have on that has been modified for drifting. I also have another on display that has been modified for Carpet racing, and I am currently building a rally car version as well. Stock its not very good, but its a good cheap platform for alot of different things.
