  • Guess this is proof that no matter what, railroading needs the human element; computers can't replace everything.

  • love how the ambulance says thank you with the air horn.

  • @Sneak693 and then the train said your welcome :)

  • I bet the ambulance driver was very surprised. This also proves the trains operator was keeping an eye out and did not have tunnel vision. Bravo!

  • maybe eventually they will. right now they are testing ptc and a computerized system that incorporates the standard wabco braking system in colorado. i hear that it will stop a freight train at 45 mph in 1100 feet. it has something to do with all the freight cars and the locomotive braking simultaneously instead of 1 car at a time and it only cost 20K$ per car. but the catch is all the "links in the chain" have to be equipped with the computer for it to work i still would like to see it.

  • @wowimsupercheeseboy6 me too, and yes i agree, lots of weird people also lol

  • It would have been faster to just let the train go through.

  • I live here, that station is disgusting.

  • @addan495 it's almost impossible to stop a freight train on short notice.... too much momentum

  • @RyGuy5320 i know what you're sayin', I've done it before.

  • @XxrotorayxX If you think people don't respect EVs in PA, try running with blue lights and no siren. people practically ignore you (also in PA)!

  • I'd like to see a freight train pulling 120 loaded coal hoppers pull that one off.
