  • classy and cute...I just wish that she lived more of a fulfilling life. if anything, she's an example of what you can be and what it can lead to if you're not careful. Lived in beauty and died beautiful. everything is meant to be.

  • she looked divine in that dress

  • nice landing.

  • Goddess.

  • Wow - is that film sped up the way old films look or does that Helicopter nearly crash? Very rough landing indeed.

  • they say, most of the people in this party, got offended by her dress...

are they kidding? jealousers!!! (people who are jealous!)

  • Simply beautiful! A once in a lifetime star!

  • That helicopter landing was frightening! You can see how windy it is, maybe that's why the rough landing. Marilyn looks amazing here, but it seems like she's being handled kind of rough. They're practically jamming the horn in her mouth. Doesn't look happy, though she's smiling.

  • Did she ever know what she was doing to boys and men back then ? I bet she knew that pretty well, since a lot of young men back then bought her naked photos and how that kept them warm I suppose !

  • This is a home movie shot in 1952 on 8mm by Walter Shields, a trombonist with Ray Anthony's Orchestra. Filmed in Sherman Oaks, CA for a publicity event surrounding the release of the song "Marilyn."
