"Time to Solution" was the theme of Pai Lung in ITMA 2007 which means providing a total solution to its customers in a timely manner. Pai Lung's effort was well demonstrated by machines exhibited, IT application, and live fashion show in ITMA 2007.
Machines Exhibited
Pai Lung exhibited eleven sets of machine, ten circular knitting machines and one flat knitting collar machine.
Among the exhibited machines, model PL-ASFC is a "Woven like corduroy function circular knitting machine". The corduroy fabric is used to be made by weaving machine, but Pai Lung has invented the PL-ASFC to knit tighter and little elastic effect of corduroy. With certain yarns arrangement, this new developed woven-like fabric is able to be similar to or even better than traditional corduroy fabric. From knitters' viewpoint, this machine can knit several types of corduroy by cylinder gauge change without extra investment on entire machine.
Model PL-KSCJ is a "Single knit electronic jacquard knitting machine" whose specification is 34"X36GX72F. The 36 gauge is the finest gauge ever in the single knit electronic knitting jacquard machine in the industry. The fabric it produces is a great material to make intimacy wearing for women.
Model KS4B-HHS, "Single Jersey Ultra High Speed Four Track Knitting Machine (Jumbo Frame)", surprised most visitors by it ultra high speed. Its speed factor is 2000; the fastest circular knitting machine has ever built in the industry. With a 20 inches diameter, the machine can speed up to 100 RPM and produce nearly 1600KG cotton fabric daily, very efficient equipment for mass production, especially for markets in America.
Furthermore, Model PLF-KC2, "Pai Lung Flat Knitting K Series Collar Machine", is the first flat knitting machine made by Pai Lung as to extend its product range to meet customers' knitting requirement. It is an electronic collar knitting machine equipped with a precision positioning servo motor system that allows complete control for efficient production at the high speeds. Pai Lung will continue to offer a wider range of compatible models with increased functions in the future.
IT Applications
In addition, Pai Lung launched three IT applications to support customer's timely demand. The first one was the "Knitting Fabric Management System" which is an integrated information system that enables customers to perform Electronic Business by integrating yarns, design, production, fabric knitted, warehousing, and sales information to manage their business more efficiently. The second one is a new web-base Pailung Online Monitor System (POMS) which allows customers to monitor their machines' performance via the Internet in various locations in the world. Pai Lung's new Corporate Website was also introduced. Customers can view every type of Pai Lung machines and access information of over thousand fabrics knitted with their own their passwords. Live Fashion Show
Moreover, Pai Lung was the only exhibitor in the Hall A1 (Machines and accessories for knitting and hosiery) to offer live fashion show, Cat Walk, starting at 3:30 pm everyday during the exhibition. The costumes wearing on the fashion models such as Knitting Denim Jeans, Knitting Corduroy, Knitting Suede, and Knitting Soft Shell are made by Pai Lung knitting machines' fabrics except accessories. Pai Lung also provided over 120 rolls of fabrics displayed as a fabric wall in center of its booth to show their know-how in producing fabrics from yarns and knitting to dyeing and finishing.
As you can see, Pai Lung has devoted itself to be the total solution provider in order to satisfy meet customers' needs on machines, fabrics and business. It is a new era not only for Pai Lung, but also for the customers who Pai Lung commits to serve!
