OK great start, NOW GO ON... Time to EXPOSE this IDOLATRY for Marriage & Family which has taken over the American Church in the last 30 years or so. There are MORE DIVORCES in the church now than there are among people who don't even know God. WHY? BECAUSE guru-psychologists have set up an IMPOSSIBLE IDEAL Christian couples are fooled into thinking their family has to live up to, but NEVER WILL. EVERY FAMILY IS DYSFUNCTIONAL. GET OVER IT! FOCUS ON JESUS FIRST IN LIFE. PERIOD.

@vanmoody That is beautiful faithfulness that is willing to stay despite the change of our emotions, the human heart is like water the Bible says, or like a cloud that quickly fades away. To base such an important decision on emotions is folly: to use the power of the will by the grace of Christ, that is true joy and bliss! That is the rock of Christ.

I know that in my marriage to my wife of almost 24 yrs I am at least half of the problem if not more. We just try to treat each other decently. I think that is one of the best things we can do because it is not always kissy face, heart a flutter time in our house. One time I told my wife that if I started to really hate her, I would not walk out the door. She seemed to like that kind of stability.
