everytime I download something on this browser it goes straight to my documents. is there a preferences for setting the place to download something to the internal or removable memory ?

That still doesn't look to great. Not necessarily groundbreaking for a mobile browser, not like PC Firefox was. Nothing like iPhones Safari is.

Before getting the N900 I saw this video and got really excited about this additional, non-stock browser for the phone.

Turns out, however, that this browser is a bit slow and looks really intrusive in my opinion with the heavy borders and rough, out-of-place colour scheme.

The native browser is a lot better in my opinion.

Yeah, it runs Maemo 5 and it's not a gated community either. I think the only closed parts are the phone/radio stuff, but if you know your way around debian, you'll love this.
