That night a few hours later outside.

Mrs. Cullen: Good, everyone ready?
Everyone: Yes Mrs. Cullen...
Mrs. Cullen: Please make a single file line and stay in the lines of your bus number! And absolutely no switching buses! Especially the bus that's not headed to YOUR highschool! We're watching you! *she walks over to Selena* Miss Gomez, who are you planning to go home with?
Selena: Uhm, David. My dad called and he said you said it was fine.
Mrs. Cullen: Yes indeed I did. Is that your final choice? The buses will be leaving in less than 10 minutes.
Selena: Well.. I think we should make sure the car works so that.. we're not stuck here.
Mrs. Cullen: That is quite the swell idea. (haha idk xD)
David: I assure you, it's working. My baby never fails me.
Selena: We should check just incase David.. *she nudges him*
David: Fine. *he hops into the drivers seat and puts the key into the ignition and turns the key and the car starts* See? What'd I tell ya-- *the car suddenly stops* What?!
Selena: See if I took your word, we'd be stuck here.
David: *he jumps out* So what now?
Alyson: *she pops out of nowhere* You could always go on the bus. And my dad's friends with someone who tows cars. He could always just bring it home for you.
Selena: *is awkward talking to her but is sincere* Thanks.
Alyson: Anytime. David, do you want the number?
David: Yea.
She gives him the number and start talking.
Selena: *turns to Demi* Why does she have to be so nice? This is making it harder..
Demi: It's just the way Alyson is. She was so nice during Camp Rock. No one could resist becoming friends with her. So I guess its not your fault.
Selena: *she sighs*

Mrs. Cullen: Remember you'll be sitting with who ever you sat with on the way here!
Selena: H-H-H-eeeellll no!
Demi: What? Why?
Selena: *she whispers* I sat with Nick! And I'll be sitting with David. HOLE-PUNCHER, ME, AND STAPLER together equals NOT A GOOD IDEA. AND A BAD COMBINATION OF OFFICE SUPPLIES.
Demi: Yikes.. uh--
Mrs. Cullen: Please board the bus now!
Selena: Frick! I'm doomed.
She gets on the bus and sits in a 3 seater with David by the window and her in the middle.
Selena: *she thinks to herself* Phew.. he probably decided to sit with someone else.*she takes out her ipod and starts playing "Hey There Delilah"*
-remember this is in 2007 so this song was likeee really popular-
Someone slides into the vacant seat next to her.
"Oh damn." she thinks. She looks up to find curly brown hair, and a pair of gorgeous brown eyes looking down and reading a book like nothing happened. She turns around to see that David fast asleep snoring. "Okay.. I think I'm gonna talk to him.., it seems like a good time."
Selena: Why do you keep doing that?
Nick: *he looks up at me*
Selena: Why do you keep pretending like nothing happened?
Mrs. Cullen: Shh! Some people are sleeping. It's 10:30 p.m.!
Nick: *he looks back down at his book and continues reading and whispers* It's the way I function. If I keep thinking about it, then it's just going to make matters worse. But sometimes I can't pretend.
Selena: Oh... well.. I'm sorry. And I wish I could pretend too.. because all of this is just, ruining our friendship. Atleast if we're friends still...
Nick: *he's silent*
Selena: *she takes his silence as a no and puts her headphones back on and slowly goes to sleep*

As she sleeps, her head tilts and it lays on Nick's shoulder.
Nick: Psst, Demi.
Demi and Joe are cuddled up next to them in a two seater with a blanket over both of them. She has her head on his chest and his head is tilted on her head.
Nick: Demi!
Demi: *she slowly opens her eyes and looks over to Nick* What?!
Nick: Please switch seats with me. This is really hard.
Demi: *she looks over and see's Selena sleeping off on his shoulder and since Demi's still sleepy she gives a short answer* No. What gives you the idea that I would wanna be between you and David? *she smiles&closes her eyes and lays down back on Joe*
Nick: Fine... *he soon goes to sleep with Selena head tilting on his shoulder*
