  • "The most TRUTH of any religion on the earth"

At some point you must ask yourself WHY you believe this.

Maybe there is something to that old saying "Give me your child until he is 6 years old and I will have him for life"

  • I believe this because I have spent time searching out other religions, and to me they feel like they are lacking more than the LDS faith is lacking. Sure it might be because I was raised in the Church and it is my primary language for understanding spirituality, but don't think I haven't asked myself why. I know it not because I have been told it from a young age, but because when I sought out God in any form, I discovered personal revelation for me that told me it was true. Stay tuned for more

  • I will do my best not to press on your faith to much as you are not preachy. To be honest I was not expecting anything quite as altruistic. Really I just wanted to make sure you had a reason.

  • You can press all you want! LOL. I am fine with it. I had my existentialist phase a while ago and I came out of it as a believer so I can take most anything you want to throw at me.

  • I guess that I just cannot comprehend this. It is understandable that one would not want to leave the faith of one's childhood. However, when that faith brands a human being as an inferior deviant, and the leadership shows no signs of altering that doctrine, why would anyone want to stay? Is not life to short to be tortured spiritually and emotionally?

  • I do hope that anyone who is religious and who feels that he cannot make the same choice here as Yudanashi has made will seek out other spiritual paths. There are a number of Christian churches that welcome gays who are out and open: the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Episcopal Church, the Unitarian Universalist Church, the Presbyterian Church, the Metropolitan Community Church and the United Church of Canada. If you feel the spiritual need, please at least investigate them.

  • I like that you are being realistic and hopeful. I tried many spiritual paths before I learned that everyone is god, we all need to get in touch with our own spiritual truth instead of letting others tell us what we are or should be. Change the church from within or start a new one like Joseph Smith and Jesus Christ did. Time allows us to grow and reach a higher level, no matter how many thousands of years it may take.

  • Dude Joseph Smith married 2 14 year old girls in his late 30s despite having 30+ wives already. The man was a conman and a pig, not a prophet. I am an exmormon an glad to be out. You should leave and be yourself!

  • You are a beautiful person with a beautiful soul... thank you so much for this video. It really helps me because I am struggling so much... I grew up mormon, then left the church at about 17 and have just started going back the last few months, not fully active, but trying to get there... I'm celibate again at this point, but I don't know if I can imagine being alone forever... I have been fasting today for the right answer because Im suppose to talk to my bishop tomorrow...

  • my name is jabbar hudson

ilive in provo utah iam 31 yrs ol

how can i contact david talk to him

    can iemail him

  • I am also gay. I joined the LDS Church after I came out, and ended up serving on an Elder's Quorum presidency, and even going through the Temple before taking a break from the Church when things started to become a bit overwhelming. I've come to the beautiful realization that I'm who I'm supposed to be, and trying to change that is wrong. I think, after a LOT of "soul searching", that the LDS Church probably is the truest church, and have lot's of supportive LDS friends. Thanks for the vid!

  • As long as you know in your heart that God is LOVE, and everything you hear, see and feel that is not LOVE is something you should disassociate yourself with in search if a spiritual awareness and closeness with God, than you will be OK. I worry about you knowing that in YOUR "church" you are hearing things that are the exact opposite of Love, and you are being encouraged to hate not only yourself but others like you. we all know "Love the sinner but hate the sin" is judgmental and hateful.Peace
