  • Actually, this squid's size isn't its actual size if it were alive. Colossal squid shrink in size and mass post mortem. Interestingly, fishermen have found huge beaks inside Sperm Whales, suggesting that if that squid had been alive, it might overshadow that of the specimen we have preserved/studied.

  • Beware to boat cruisers, don't go for a swim in the dark depths of a tidal raged sea at night otherwise you will be its breakfast.

  • My theory is that if less than 5% of the world's oceans have been explored, there may be a species of squid that's thicker than a skyscraper...could you imagine?!

  • @anold130 a giant squid is diff from a colossal squid

  • The Giant Sea Pacific Jellyfish thrives in deep raging sea waters with waves reaching 20 ft in height of the pacific ocean caused by frequent dangerous hurricanes. This legendary carnivore is related to its cousin Blue-bottle 'manowar' preying on big sharks and espially giant Squids.

  • Did you know the giant squid was one the few giant sea carnivores that lives even today specially in Mexico. But the giant Squid have there own predators one of these predator can grow up to 60 metres long and can wrap their prey and kill with just a few seconds its not a octopus but the legendary Giant Sea-pacific Jellyfish living in the unknown depths of the forbidden sea.
