ARChess - ACE 2008 International Conference

This is a remote Chinese chess game on mobile phone with Augmented Reaility Technology. Through this program, anyone can play chess with computer. People can also learn the Kifu(棋譜), the manual of chess, and then practice what they have learned.

The mobile phone that captured video is Nokia N95. With the 3D acceleration chip, the program can render up to 15 fps.

This application was developed by CGDA Lab., NCNU University, Taiwan.
