This video shows how to do the endless rising noise effect that you've probably already heard in Leave the world behind and many other tracks.

  • Ya it works perfectly if you follow the steps exactly!! I was getting mixed up with the amount of pitch bend and also the direction of the volume modulation in both the Hi and Low part get it all right and it works. Cheers

  • Thanks a lot worked well the problem is u guys have to put it at +6st for pitch bend range in the midi section of the sampler . CHEERS :D

  • @pressoDK Make sure your Low is on F#2 and your Hi is on F#3 Not G2 and G3...

  • @pressoDK Yeah, mine seems to restart rather than continue on up. I think this is what you are talking about. Yeah? ANy help guys?

  • @WasteLandMusicInc thanks for the info. Regards from Perú

  • I'm a logic user. I use the olilarkin plugin but cannot seem to get the exact noise that artists like max vangeli, SHM etc use. Could you tell me what exact settings I should be using? thanks

  • This is all based around something called the "Shepard Tone" which is basically a musical sequence which makes sounds appear to be rising/Flanging forever! It can be heard in numerous Dance songs such as: Junior Sanchez - Elevator (Laidback Luke Remix). A plugin called Oli Larkin - Endless Sequencer is commonly used, theres other ways to do it, such as above. But buy that plugin, and give it a try :)

  • why is it, everytime the loop returns to point 1. after 8 bar. It has a little volumen bumb.... its not smooth all the way ?

  • can you send me the audio file ?
