On December 12, 2000, my father, 13 year US Navy veteran, passed away, changing my life forever. This song represents, in my mind, so much hard work. The man worked, until they amputated his leg. The diabetes caused insane suffering ... but he stood on, played on... thru the pain... for his family. Leslie West is of the same ilk. Hero, yes, LEGEND, hell yes.
