  • It's a shame the estate only came with 2 doors;it would have been better with 5 doors from the start-easier access to the rear and more rear legroom are the benefits.

  • Here in New Zealand they sold the Chevette from 1976 to 1981, in spite of Holden having the T-Car Gemini in Australia. The key differences with the Kiwi Chevette was a metric speedometer, and from 1979 onwards, radial tuned suspension as fitted to the Gemini models, resulting in the car being lower, and on wider rostyle wheels.

  • I liked the look of these but that 1256cc engine was a gutless piece of junk. needed a 1.6 as an option really
