This is a very honest film - we, as viewers, aren't manipulated by the film composer or the director. We see the action as if we just bought a ticket and sat in the stands.

It is easily the best sports film ever made - it gets right to the heart of the issue about violence and how it is acceptable on the sports field. And how sport is potentially a method of allowing people to vent their violent nature in a socially acceptable way.

Rollerball is the best ever sports film, with Rocky in second place.
