Let's Play - Megaman X8 - 11 - Vile Vile Vile! ... Items!

Nabbing a few more items. I also encounter Vile again. I was hoping to Double Attack him to death, but apparently Axl went and got himself killed, meaning I had to play through that stage AGAIN in order to get the last item.

The next level isn't as annoying as the last few have been, but is absolute hell if you don't know what you're doing.

And then it's onto the two most annoying levels ever. No kidding. I do not look forward to the last two Maverick stages.

I agree. Although I got frustrated with X8 when I played it a few years back. Like X6 I got pissed off easily with this game especially when capcom replaced lives with stupid ass retry chips.
