How to Create an Email Signature in Thunderbird

Step One: Create an HTML signature file:

Step Two: Add signature file in Thunderbird

Tools Account Setting
Pick the identity you want to add a Signature to
Check box that reads: Attach This signature. Check the box, then choose the file we created prior.
Click OK
Try composing an email and see if your new signature appears

what if you don't know html, like me? can i put my text in TextEditor??

@veganpea Yes, that will work. The only draw back, if you have links in your signature they will not be active.

hi there :) i tried this many months ago, but it doesn't work! :) i make the signautre in Text Editor and then link it in Account Settings but it doesn't actually come up when I click "new message". Do you know why this is? :) Thanks for ur help in advance!

how or can i create a business card with picture(like in outlook) for thunder bird or zimbra accounts.
