Tony Shields Cumbernauld Headhunters Johnstone Fight Night 3/4/10

Tony Shields in his third fight, representing the Cumbernauld Headhunters at the OB Gym's Johnstone Fight NIght on April 3rd '10.

A word from the club:

"Tony Sheils took part in his 3rd fight at Johnston Town hall on 3rd April. Despite suffering a defeat by TKO at the end of the 2nd round, Tony gave everything he had and more, dominating his opponent in the first round with punishing boxing and kicking combos. Unfortunately, his opponent was only just able to weather the storm, and knowing that he couldn't stand against such a powerful striker had to resort to clinching Tony in the 2nd and keeping him in the opposing camps' corner for almost the full round.

Tony has done us all proud, cutting so much weight in only 2 weeks to make the fight, training harder every time and giving everything in the ring. He's come out with no injuries and we'll have him back in the ring soon to get that elusive win!"
