OH MY GOD.... My first full vid in Vegas...and...holy shit...took me like...hmm...in total, uh...probably TWELEVE FRIGGIN' HOURS! And then it took me FOREVER to get this posted because the damn audio kept acting up! Geezzzzzz. I hope it's good enough. I like it, but I'm the one who made it, so yeah. And since it kinda has hints of *something,* it's kinda my Valentine's Day vid (since I don't have a boyfriend of my own...well, he's not real, haha! Its late because YOUTUBE screwed up the audio or whatever). Hope you're not in Germany...because this is blocked there apparently...
So, yeah. Whoo hoo. First full vid with Vegas...and the most complicated vid I ever made so far. Sadly, since I have Movie Studio, I can't mask. I tried using GIMP, but I got frustrated because when I tried following a video here on YouTube...it didn't work...so, no mask attempts. Sorry. Deal.
The story behind this vid is basically I return home from the scenario that happens in my fanfic (which you can view here, haha: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5467800/1/Lost_in_Spira_Follow_Me_to_Get_Home) and I reflect upon some events, the friends I made, and something that happens...well, if you're smart and read between the lines, you can probably figure it out. The idea came to me in the only class where I can think about anything besides the subject: my Friday Stat 135 Problem Solving Session. There, the teacher basically does everything on the projector and we copy down the stuff he puts and then we turn it in. Yep. Easy participation points. I was thinking of some song and how to do an interesting timing portion, and boom! the beginning of this video was born. After class, I came back to my dorm and spent about 10 mins recording and taking stupid pictures (shut up, I had fun, and that's all that matters. and then began the LOOONNNGGG process of putting this video together. Arrrggghhh!! Spent forever figuring out timing, and I still was off in some places, but whatever.
I didn't just choose Tears Of... because of the timing. I actually had it on a playlist I came up with for my fanfic (not in the same place, but the meaning is basically the same, but I won't spoil it ^_~). It's a sad, yet pretty song, and it fit the mood right. Plus, it was easy to figure out different timing schemes (right word?). I hope I don't appear to get too lazy near the end (I didn't, but I sorta ran out of ideas...) The ending picture is kinda like the memory of when I meet Auron on the streets of Luca, sparking a series of events. I put the TV screen FX in there to kinda simulate like...if it was on TV...yeah. The outfit I have is the closest I could come up with that resembled the outfit I wear in my fanfic. Yay. And those earrings were damn heavy, that's why I made them and never wore them anywhere.
Song: Tear's Of... from Silent Hill 1
Program: Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9.0

Clips: bluelaguna.net and my dorm room/camera. (sorry I had to repeat a few clips, but there's not too many good ones, 'specially in full FMV style, of a certain someone
Random Comment Time!: I'm sorry, but I absolutely LOVE the beginning to this. I say it was a spark of genius. ^_^ **Swells with pride**

Wow really?! **Blushes** I figured adding myself would make the video more personal, plus I haven't seen it done before. Thanks so much, it means a lot to me, I'm glad you liked it!
